An update on the search for the next Director of Training & Clinical Services.

Dear Friends,

After an extensive national search, we are excited to announce that Brooke White will serve as the next Director of Training & Clinical Services on our Counseling team! Brooke’s first day on the job will be November 9th.

Thank you to the Recruitment Committee: Anne Thompson, LCSW, Assistant Director of Training & Clinical Services; Board member Reid Vanderburgh, retired therapist (former LMFT); Jacqy Lopez, LPC intern and former counseling intern; Joaquin Lopez, former counseling intern; and Maneena Douglas, mental health therapist, The Bhakti Yoga Movement Center.

About Brooke

Brooke White, LCSW, LCDC, has a deep passion for providing people with excellent strengths-focused and individual-led care, as well as the powerful impact that clinical supervision can have in helping clinicians learn how they want to show up in the therapy room and in the world. She has worked with adults experiencing homelessness, people entering residential treatment for substance use, and transitional-aged youth in a variety of programs. Brooke comes to William Temple House from LifeWorks Austin, where she currently serves as the Director of Evidence-Based Programming. Brooke holds a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin.
