Hello there!
My name is Brie Richards and I am the new William Temple House Development Coordinator. Thank you for your involvement with and interest in our organization!
William Temple House first drew me in as my own personal passions connected deeply with the mission: “To restore hope and renew strength in individuals and families in a welcoming and respectful atmosphere.” Sometimes people need a helping hand, and William Temple House has stepped up to serve the city of Portland for 50 years through commitments to emergency social services and mental health counseling.
I’ve worked in fundraising and development for about five years, most recently in Duke University’s Office of Development, and in that time I have gained a wealth of knowledge about philanthropic best practices and community collaborations. I am excited to put my skills to use here at William Temple House, and I am thrilled to work with you to continue to bring our important and life-giving services to the citizens of Portland!
